This place used to be good like 10 years ago. I think they sold it. The service is extremely slow and the food is from Costco and bland as heck. I had to add tons of salt to make edible. I tried to give them several chances as I moved back to the area recently and I will never come back. They only put one shot of espresso in a large latte seriously?! Who does that?! EDIT: thank you to the owner for replying. I realize I was a bit harsh and not very informative on the problem as I was upset when I wrote it. I ordered my coffee and was told that there is only one shot of espresso in the small, medium and large lattes, which I found extremely weird. Second, the boy behind the counter looked very young, almost 12 years old lol I know that's probably not the case but he was also extremely inexperienced and the boys seemed to be brothers. I asked for 3 shots in my latte and it was so bitter and burnt I told them I couldn't drink it and asked for a refund. They were taking so long to process orders and I had already waited 20 mins for my coffee that I left out of rage without my refund. Personally, on the weekend when people are going out of their way to get coffee at a cute shop like this I think it's important that they be fully staffed with competent staff during busy hours. I also don't think you should sell any baked goods that are from Costco. That's so lame for a local coffee place that actually sells local coffee EQUATOR which is great coffee. How bout goods from a local bakery instead? I hope there is improvement as this place has been around a long time and used to be awesome!! Thank you

My mom and I were looking for a quick breakfast and decided to try this spot after finding it on Yelp. We got to a small, slightly run down and dark cafe and were eventually greeted by someone working. We both ordered bagel sandwiches: I went with the Grateful Eggel on an everything bagel (no cheese, added avocado), and my mom chose the Mini Monster on a sesame bagel. While the menu had plenty of great options, we found the flavors a bit underwhelming and needed to add salt for more taste. Overall, it was a solid breakfast but nothing to write home about.

A small bagel / coffee shop near SRJC. It's my go to place for a bagel. They have many varieties of bagels and flavors of cream cheese as well as many choices of bagel sandwiches. They offer a wide assortment of different coffee drinks. My favorite bagel combo is pizza with pesto cream cheese. There can be a line at times in the morning, not sure about other times of the day. Staff is friendly and they work hard to get the orders out quickly.

I love it here. I came here a lot in highschool but everything is great. The staff are so friendly and the bagels are amazing. They run out of certain bagels quick though so make sure you show up earlier! I love their classic bagels and cream cheese and also their eggels are pretty good too. Great coffee too. Very cute and cozy place.

Cute mom and pop place. We ordered some really yummy breakfast sandwich bagels. The lady who took our order was helpful and fast. You get the option of light or dark coffee. We got red eyes and both light and dark were good. I wish I lived closer, I would go once a week, for sure! The only downfall is that It's very small inside, you don't have any guarantee of getting a seat, but taking it to go is what we opted for anyway!

The bagel sandos here are so bomb!!!! Veggies are always crisp and fresh, cream cheese is super flavorful, bagels are nice and chewy... mmm I'll be back again next week.
